Our engineers and technicians focus their attention on the customer’s needs to develop the feasibility study of the plants. Technical engineering is an extremely important strategic resource to maintain the high quality of our products and, in particular, of our extrusion technologies, which represent the core of FEN.

Our technologists are crucial characters of our force as they take part into internal projects and collaborations with customers: their aim is to optimize FEN's technologies and to increase the range of products that they allow to manufacture.
Our Research & Development department focuses all its effort on the study of raw materials and on shaping our technologies according to the most diverse production requirements. Coordinated activities with universities and research centers have brought to developments which go beyond the food industry, e.g. biodegradable materials.

Our production lines have been recreated in FEN on a laboratory scale in order to perfectly reproduce the industrial production processes. This has allowed our R&D department to develop new products and hence to help the customer in choosing innovative solutions.
